The 5th annual Privacy Identity Innovation conference, pii2014 Silicon Valley, will explore where innovation is heading, what it means for the future of privacy and identity, and how to build trust in emerging technologies and business models.

Confirmed speakers include the FTC chairwoman, the CEO of Secret, the co-founders of about.me, Ogilvy & Mather’s global chief data officer, the CEO of Silent Circle, Box’s chief trust officer, Microsoft’s chief privacy officer, the CEO of Wickr, AT&T’s chief privacy officer, Apple’s senior director of global policy and other prominent experts. In addition, journalists like Kara Swisher of Re/code, Elizabeth Dwoskin of The Wall Street Journal and Stacey Higginbotham of Gigaom will participate as session moderators.

Through a mix of on stage interviews, roundtable discussions and demos, the pii2014 program will focus on recent technologies and trends in areas like mobile, biometrics, the Internet of Things and big data — and what they mean for privacy, identity and reputation.
