Riana Pfefferkorn, the Associate Director of Surveillance and Cybersecurity at the Stanford Center for Internet and Society, who has investigated and analyzed the ongoing encryption debate between law enforcement and the U.S. government for years, said these bills are a "full frontal nuclear assault on encryption in the United States."
