Andrea Matwyshyn, a professor at Northeastern University and former FTC senior policy advisor and Steven Calkins, a law professor at Wayne State University and former general counsel at the FTC, discuss a suit against Dish Network, which accused them of allowing their contractors to violate do-not-call laws by placing millions of robocalls to consumers. The government is seeking more than $24 billion in fines from the company, despite the fact that Dish is only valued at $22 billion.
