As the many thousands of loyal readers of this blog know, I eat far better than I deserve to, totally as a result of my betrothal to my beloved, the food writer Cheryl Sternman Rule.
Cheryl has been published in dozens of national foodie publications -- she was a restaurant reviewer and columnist for Metro Silicon Valley for a long stretch, and she's a contributing editor at EatingWell (which I fondly refer to as "the Ms. Magazine of foodie publications"), but now she's surrendered to my pestering and finally launched her own blog, 5 second rule (I take co-credit for coming up with the title).
In just a week or two as a resident of the blogosphere she's already kicked my butt in terms of posting frequency and writing quality. To top it off, she also is putting up tasty recipes and stunning food photographs, which I think, to be perfectly frank, is just unfair to me. Because fundamentally this is all about me.
All her foodie friends are linking to her blog, so it's only fair I follow suit. Check it out. My favorite posts are Facing Up and Stealth Health.
