The Association for Downloadable Media has issued a press release to announce it's upcoming open meeting at the Podcast & New Media Expo.
On September 28, at 7:30 am (yes, that's a.m.), there will be an important in-person Open Meeting of members and those interested in joining. It will take place at the Podcast and New Media Expo in Ontario, CA.
Also, check the ADM website for new details about the organization. I specifically want to flag two things:
(1) A new listserv has been created so members can begin more active involvement in developing the new organization. (Existing members have been sent in invitation email to join the listserv.)
(2) More details on elections (scroll to end of the page) have been posted. These were also explained to members in the initial membership call in August, but some details have changed - like the time frame for making your nominations has been extended to October 8.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in the early stages of the formation of this important industry group.
