What's better than listening to two lawyers you really like as people talk about a subject you find fascinating? For me, it's hard to beat. (And, I'm sure for some, anything that involves listening to lawyers will sound totally boring... and I guess that's what's beautiful about the internet.)
So, what I'm I so excited about? Dave Levine's excellent interview with Elizabeth Townsend Gard, visiting professor at Seattle U. Law School. The topic is the public domain and unpublished works. It's definitely worth a listen if you're interested in these issues, and explains how the copyright laws were dramatically changed as they relate to unpublished works. Elizabeth's work on these questions is invaluable, and as far as I know, she's one of the *only* people considering these questions.
