Forgive the sporadic posts -- I'm just getting back into the swing of things after a long stretch in Kauai with Cheryl and the boys. It was a beautiful trip -- I got to dive Ni'ihau, which was incredible, and Andrew and Alex loved the beaches. It's hard to resume the rhythm of everyday life after a week in paradise, but when school starts up again tomorrow I bet we'll settle into the familiar patterns.
I'm off to SMU this weekend to teach an intensive course on ODR as part of the Dispute Resolution masters program. I'm co-teaching with Dan Rainey this year; I'm doing the first weekend and Dan is going to handle the second weekend. I'm trying to put together a class unit using There.com, which should be very interesting. The students at SMU are always very great, enthusiastic, and up for anything. I think it'll be a good time.
The icing on the cake is that my Dad's 66th birthday is Monday, so we'll all be able to take him out to dinner to celebrate. Even better, I found him the perfect gift (his name is Ian). Do you think he reads this blog?
