So Zimbio is a very cool new collaborative media company that I've been working with a bit. Their founders are excellent people, and their product is great. Check it out for yourself at Zimbio.com. Zimbio provides an efficient, practical and fun guide to the web.
For example, if you're interested in a particular topic, you can go to the website and check out the portal that has information on that particular topic... (oh, let's say, you're intersted in podcasting and law). On the portal that returns after your search, you get all the best information on that topic. Blogs, news articles, images, links to podcasts and vlogs, chat options... They've thought of everything that an enthusiast would want and put it all in one easy to use and easy to find place. And their topics cover everything you can think of, and if a topic you want doesn't yet exist, you can create the portal quickly and easily yourself.
Finally, one other reason I like this site so much is that they have elected to apply Creative Commons licensing to the site. They are innovative that way, and one of only a few companies I know of that are doing this.
