EFF reports on podcasting difficulties

EFFector's minilinks reported on Friday that a radio station in Chicago is dealing with copyright problems in their podcasting effort. Here's what EFFector says:

"According to this article, under ASCAP rules podcasting
can't be classified as time-shifted streaming.  That
means that radio stations can't just switch to
podcasting their broadcast shows, as podcast pioneer
