So much to celebrate! Students in the Cyberlaw Clinic argued a anonymous Doe case before the CA Court of Appeals, participated in a 13 hour settlement conference that closed our Peter Pan case, drafted two US Supreme Court amicus briefs for Brand X, and helped with all our co-counsel duties in Grokster. The Center filed an amicus brief before the CA Appeals Court on behalf of two dozen bloggers and organizations and filed comments with the copyright office on Orphan Works. Our Residential Fellow Chris Sprigman accepted a job at the University of Virginia. Super Non-residential Fellow Mark Cooper co-published "Open Architecture as Communications Policy" with CIS. Super Non-Residential Fellow Mary Rundle launched NetDialogue with CIS and the Berkman Center. SLATA and CIS hosted 14 Monday lunch speakers, and CIS hosted BloggerCon and will co-sponsor a conference on Online Deliberation later this month.
whew! We could not have done this all without help from so many of you! Please join us for snacks and cocktails on May 10 so we can thank you in person!
Canfield Court is right in front of the main entrance to the Law School (between the law school and Meyer Library). We'll be near the totem pole. Directions and maps.
