Protecting Public Anonymity Paper

By Elaine Newton on

If you read this blog, you may have noticed a new article listed on my CMU website or the Articles section of this blog.  But in case you didn't, Granger Morgan (my Committee Chair) and I have a paper in the current issue of Issues in Science and Technology entitled "Protecting Public Anonymity" -- an arguement for protecting anonymity and a presentation of privacy design principles for engineers and computer scientists.  I'm happy with the e-mail reactions and discussions it has provoked.  If you don't get Issues in your library, it will be available online when the next issue comes out.  Please feel free to post comments here or e-mail me privately (especially if you're not hocking pills or attempting to engage me in a game of poker).
