Let's All Agree to Abolish the Electoral College

It looks like it is a real possibility that Bush could win the popular vote, but Kerry the electoral vote.

That would make Kerry the next President, of course.

But let's agree now that whoever wins, we should work to abolish or rework the electoral college for the next presidential election.

This is one nation, undivided by state lines.  Let's do away with Red States and Blue States.  The President represents us all.
