This morning the Register of Copyrights addressed the House SubCommittee on Courts, the Internet and Intellectual Property for an annual oversight hearing. I find these reports interesting, having quoted previous years' testimony in briefs only to have the government move to strike it as outside the record!
Here's the report to the committee, which includes sections on CARP Reform, the hearings on reforms to the DMCA, the office's efforts to support the Solicitor General in copyright cases, and goals and challenges in the Copyright Office. Worth a quick read.
