What are your favorite toddler picture books? I like "Good night, Gorilla," written and illustrated by Peggy Rathmann (1994) (a nice coincidence, "Rath" in Hindi means "night"). It's a lovely story of a zookeeper putting the animals to bed for the evening, but the animals include one naughty gorilla and a cute mouse who are not so easily controlled.
