A great reminder of why fair use matters

Coming to the San Francisco Independent Film Festival is the new film Value Added Cinema; a flick constructed entirely by editing together egregious product-placement shots from other film. If the crypto-legal lockdown of content continues, this kind of thing will be at best illegal and at worst technologically impossible. (Via BoingBoing.)
