Alternative Compensation Systems

Over the last few months, alternative compensation systems, in particular levy systems, have become a new focus of the copyright debate. Personally, I think those systems are very much worthwhile to explore, although more research, in particular in regards to economics, seems necessary in order to fully assess their effects.
