The purpose of this hearing is to gather expert testimony from volunteer witnesses on the past, present and future of online politicking, and in particular the role that new technologies play and will continue to play in Internet political practices. The two panels will be conducted by the members of the Technology Subcommittee of the Commission. The specific focus of each panel and the following discussion will determined as the witness lists are confirmed.
