Pierluigi Perri

Pierluigi Perri is a Non-resident Fellow at the Center for Internet and Society. Pierluigi's research field is the information security, especially the technological "security measures" (as called by Italian legislator) applied to data protection and privacy, copyright and intellectual property (DRM, rootkits), and also in the computer crimes area.

Pierluigi is also practicing law since October of 2002 with a law firm specialized in computer crimes, and he is admitted to the bar of Bologna.

In may 2004, Pierluigi was awarded a research grant by the University of Milan, and he's currently fulfilling that obligation, teaching base-level and advanced-level courses in computer law with Prof. Giovanni Ziccardi.
