Christian Laux

Christian Laux is an attorney from Switzerland who pursued his LL.M. studies at Stanford (Law, Science & Technology) until 2007.  In his daily attorney practice he focuses on IP, privacy matters and Public Procurement Law.  Christian has authored a number of articles related to Open Source Software and Open Content issues and regularly presents on this topic.  He is co-founder of Openlaw – Plattform für Recht und Freie Software, a Swiss institute dedicated to the legal aspect of Open Source Software and Open Content in Switzerland and is responsible for the implementation of Creative Commons licensing system in Switzerland.  Christian is fluent in German, English and French, and speaks Russian.
