Third-year law student Sarah Givan drafted and filed Plaintiff's Opposition to Defendent's Motion for Summary Judgment and a Declaration in support of the opposition.
DOJ filed their Summary Judgment Motion (Exhibits), (Exibits), arguing why they should be allowed to withold some of the documents requested by EPIC.
Today EPIC filed a Motion to Recalendar the case management conference and to set a briefing schedule so the litigation can commence. We also had to file an Application to Shorten Time, asking the Court to quickly rehear the recalendaring motion, rather than following the normal process allowed for most motions.

Today, the Clinic filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The case number is: C04-00296. It was assigned to District Court Judge Ronald M. Whyte and Magistrate Judge Patricia Trumbull (for discovery and preliminary motions).
