Tara Whalen is a Staff Privacy Analyst at Google. She obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Ottawa, with a Concentration in Law and Technology. Tara previously worked as a Privacy Engineer at Apple, and as an IT Research Analyst at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. She conducted post-doctoral research in computer security at Carleton University, after receiving a PhD in computer science at Dalhousie University.
