Robert Mintz, a partner at McCarter and English, and Andrea Matwyshyn, a law professor at Northeastern University and former FTC senior policy adviser, discuss Apple’s battle with the government over a court order that would force the tech giant to create a backdoor into its devices. The case, which revolves around an iPhone that was used by one of the shooters in the San Bernardino terrorist attacks, is just the latest conflict between Apple and the government over encryption.
