UW hacking suspect's case addresses privacy, access

Jennifer Granick, Heckenkamp's attorney and clinical director at the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford University, has frequently assailed what she calls the government's overzealous prosecution of hacker cases. In this case, she believes that UW-Madison and its police invaded Heckenkamp's privacy.
