CIS Student Fellows Travis Brandon, Thomas Nosewicz, Jon Novotny, Elspeth J. Simpson, and Sarah Tierney drfted this model Privacy Policy for the Silicon Valley Municipal Wireless Network (SVW). We think it carefully balances the interests of law enforcement and commercial success with the need to protect users' privacy when they use the network.
We worked with students at UC Santa Clara who drafted a model T&C for SVW that addresses the same privacy interests in slightly different ways.
