Content Blocking at DFW

Greetings from the American Airlines Admiral's Club in Dallas, who among other nice amenities provides public web access. My inbox has this morning's New York Times digest of news. One article catches my eye: "Audio Slide Show: Lifestyles for Layovers", a review of what to do at 5 airports if you're stranded. This is timely, having been stranded last night in Dallas due to cancelled flights during thunderstorms.

Viewing this piece was prevented by a content blocker, apparently for having the word 'gambling.'

My reaction was surprise and amusement at the irony. But as I think about it, the print edition may not have an 'audio slide show', so I can't necessarily rely on that alternative medium if the content type that was probably unique to the online edition.
