On to the Podcasting Expo

After a busy week, including a fun stop at the Rev3 launch party here in San Francisco, I'm heading on down to the 2nd Annual Podcasting & Portable Media Expo.

I'll be presenting on Friday at 2 pm on a panel with blogging & podcasting attorneys Denise Howell and Jeff Heninger. This will be more of a workshop-style discussion, and we're hoping to get as much audience participation as possible. Of course, we'll be talking about all those nitty gritty legal questions that podcasters face: everything from the "big picture" questions -- like documenting things, insurance, trademarks and how to wrangle your lawyers -- to the details -- like clearing copyright permissions, fair use, and what to do to protect your own rights when you distribute your podcast... Yes, somehow Denise, Jeff and I will cover all of this in less than an hour.
